Walking for Health Scheme
Walk Leader
We are looking for volunteer walk leaders to lead a variety of short (0.5-3 miles) walks across Wirral. Initially the walks will start from the leisure centres in Wirral and will run about once a week. The walking routes are pre-planned by the Project Coordinator and volunteers are responsible for leading the walks, taking the register, etc.

Carelink Community Support Scheme
Volunteer Driver
Volunteers are needed to join our bank of drivers who provide essential transport for local, mainly elderly clients living in West Kirby, Hoylake, Meols and Greasby. Transport to hospital appointments and local doctors surgeries forms the bulk of our work. Volunteers work on an ad hoc basis and can do as little or as much as they like. "Carelink" is a Good Neighbour Scheme run by Hoylake & District Council for Voluntary Service which provides practical help and support to elderly and disabled people in West Kirby, Hoylake, Meols and Greasby.
